I've been checking out some Jazz playlists on Tidal looking for some new music. Tidal adds maybe 12 albums under the "new" category each week and all are Hip Hop or close to it. I did a search in playlists for "Rock" and probably less than 10% was Rock the rest Hip Hop. I emailed them and typically like to be loyal but with my CD library mostly ripped now to the ACS10 I mostly use streaming for filler and looking for new things to listen to, I may have to explore Qobuz. In addition, Tidal has made some music no longer available for some reason. I don't understand why you'd limit your library unless it costs to offer it perhaps.

Chick Corea - Chinese Butterfly (Tidal does have a MQA version ) I really enjoy this album, some of the songs are 16, 17 & 18 minutes long, this must have been a LP box set, LOL

I've been such a fan of Tord since this album came out. If I were to die, a friend knows to play "Where Breathing Starts" at a memorial service. Although, honestly, a service or anything like that is really irrelevant to me after I'm gone, but if some people want to experience something that I valued, this is a great example. And, the song title feels to me quite fitting if one believes in something beyond this earthly world.

Agreed. I have eight of her albums. The one you have in DSD512 must be amazing. I might need to purchase some of hers on DSD from Grove Note ...

I think the reason I was so awe stuck today is that my new system is finally - or near to - being broken in. The album never sounded like it did today. I think Moon River is on Autumn Leaves. And I agree it's captivating.

It is indeed on Autumn Leaves. A good place to find DSD recordings is NativeDSD https://www.nativedsd.com/. Very good selections for certain types of music! I have gotten Jacintha, Vanessa Fernandez, and David Elias albums in DSD512 from them.

Very good live album!

The only musician who releases a live album (to settle a napkin deal before he became recognized) as the bands first new album under a new name The Band Of Gypsies over the Experience.

The recently released new box set on 180 gram from tape masters is very good. It covers both days uninterrupted an album sized paper book and maybe a few trinkets.
