Keep an eye on you Audiogon account.
Someone from a Miami IP address hacked by account and tried to purchase some cables.
Fortunately for me I had enough with PayPal last fall and closed my account. They tried to use my account for the payment.Synology 1019D+ - SGC Sonictransporter I9 w Roon/HQ Player- UltraRendu- PBD Stream IF to Playback Designs MPS5 via fiber optic - ARC 40th Anniversary Pre - ARC 610 T's - Martin Logan CLX's - 4 Martin Logan Depth i Subs - Shunyata Hydra, DIY PCOCC interconnects, speaker cables and power cords with Furutech terminations. Blue Jeans CAT 6's. Acoustically treated room with one permanent chair.

fwiw, enabling two-factor authentication and using a smart-phone authenticator app adds an extra layer of security. anyone not in physical possession of the phone and the ability to unlock it cannot make a paypal transaction

Is it possible to use two-factor authentication with anything other than a message sent to your phone? I am in other countries quite often and my normal sim card would not be in the phone to avoid roaming or would an email authentication be just as worthless as not having one at all?

rather than having a key sent via a text or data message, authenticator phone apps use a key generator that is synchronized with the website login. thus, no phone connectivity is required. there are a number of these apps from google, microsoft, facebook, and various internet security companies.
