Ma8900 da1
Hi there,
I am new to the forum, my name is Birhan, i am 50 and live in the Netherlands, Europe.. I am very pleased to be here, i have read many threads earlier and today it is time to register for i have some doubts and am in need of help from people with way more knowledge then i have, and i hope to find them here.
My stereo set : MA8900, Sonus Faber Olympica Nova III.
My next buy wil be a streamer. I have listend to the Lumin T2 in a store before and loved it. But my Mcintosh has a DAC.
Should i go Lumin U1 ?
Will i lose out in performance if i buy a transporter only?
*I love the lumin app/interface, so i dont need suggestions for other brands of streamers.
Tnx in advance and rock on

Re: Ma8900 da1
Hi Birhan, welcome to the forum. In my opinion with a Lumin T2 you are going to improve the sound of your equipment a lot. MC 8900 is a good team, but I don't think that the DAC surpasses the Lumin T2.

Re: Ma8900 da1
Welcome to the Forum and as already indicated by Andik777 I think that you should buy Lumin T2.
I ve a Lumin A1 and McIntosch C2600 and the dac is better in Lumin A1 than in C2600.
You will not be disappointed with Lumin.
Good luck and please upload some pics of your system.
Thanks,McIntosh C302 + C2600 - Lumin A1 - Lenco L75 - Marantz SR6007 - Paradigm S6 - Gaia II - Chord Epic Twin Speaker Cable + Jumpers - Bada LB5500
