Change DNS in Lumin settings
Like some of you I have now problems with tidal streaming in my Lumin U1 Mini. It seems it is related to the dns of my internet provider. I changed dns settings to google’s directly in my iPhone and it solved the problem.
My internet provider does not allow changing of dns directly in the router. So dns has to be changed in the device’s settings.
Most of my devices allow to change dns settings (including iPhone iPad pc my marantz nd 8006 etc...) but it seems that Lumin devices do not allow this yet.
This is very critical for lumin users. Because it can happen that some music providers like tidal stop working due to dns.
Do you plan to implement these settings in a very near future ?
Best

Re: Change DNS in Lumin settings
Peter, you're the man, man. It seems that the problem is resolved.
I have been testing Tidal for 15 mn. Everything works fine, regular Hi-Fi and MQA songs.
Will I stay in the regular channel of future Lumin updates or am I "lonely" now?
Maybe sending the same firmware to cpaslui also would make him a happy man.
Many thanks
