    RIP Neil Peart

    Rush drummer Neil Peart has passed at only 67 . He fought brain cancer.

    Sad day. I’ve followed and studied Neil’s lyrics and drumming sine the early ‘70’s. Saw Rush in concert many times.

    shit, i am a massive rush fan,favorite band, and best live band ever, didn't know he was ill, first saw them at the 2112 tour leicester de montfort hall 1977, when i was 15 and still at school, changed my musical life, seen them at least 8 or more times he was the most technical drummer of all time, and will be in the top three drummers of all time,
    what a shocker on the phone now to mates to tell the bad news, will be giving him and rush some welly tonight, he will be with his wife and daughter again,
    it looks like brain cancer, and 67 years young,
    bugger me, such a loss,
    also my hart goes out to Geddy and Alex, who have spent most of their lives with,
