One of the reviewers at Positive Feedback put this on their recommended list.
Anybody have any experience with this piece?

Since it was on sale, and I am getting a 14 day trial, the Ephono & Ephono power supply have been ordered. Good timing, since the sale ended later the same day!

Keces has arrived. Will it replace my Audio by Van Alstine phono preamp?

This is not about my new Keces preamp, but a problem that I noticed since I plugged it in. No, I don’t think it s the Keces.
After a couple of weeks, I turned off the mute to hear the speaker, without anything playing. I am not the first to do this, of course. I heard a intermittent static. No pattern, no regularity. Since the mute is on when there is no music, I don’t know how long I have had it. It could have been happening with my previous phono preamp. It’s not happening on another input with a CD player. I have been moving inputs, cables, unplugging left and right channels, without any success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The buzz has been eliminated. My Rega tonearm has a Incognito wiring harness. The ground wire had a alligator clip. Clip cut-wire stripped-buzz gone!
And so far, the Keces is awesome!
