    B&W 805D3’s

    The B&W 805D3’s arrived. The stands are coming soon, so we are temporarily using these Harbeth HiFI Racks stands.

    Hooked to the NAIM SuperNait 3, they are very impressive right out of the box. Bass is fantastic, too end is very airy and they have all the goodness of a great two way. For $6k, I have to say, this is a bargain in high end audio. Put in the right sized room and paired with something like NAIM, these are fantastic little performers. Color me highly impressed right out of the box.

    Had an earlier generation of these in 2000 - 2002. Always, a nice performer.
