There have been reports of Tesla owners in the power outage areas here in CA supplying elec to their homes through a $200 DC>AC inverter with enough juice to run their fridge, TV and a few lights. It can work both ways. Originally Posted by jdandy

I read an interesting note on this car, it will have speakers that will play a motor noise, not clear whether for hearing inside the car, outside the car or both. You even have different engine rumbles to choose from.
