Wouldn't work too well for those in California during the PG&E mandatory power outages.

Solar panels and several Tesla power walls will take care of that problem.

There have been reports of Tesla owners in the power outage areas here in CA supplying elec to their homes through a $200 DC>AC inverter with enough juice to run their fridge, TV and a few lights. It can work both ways.

Rob.......Interesting. Did not know an electric vehicle could back feed an inverter. Thanks for the information.

Did not mean to hi-jack Mike's thread with a different topic.

I read an interesting note on this car, it will have speakers that will play a motor noise, not clear whether for hearing inside the car, outside the car or both. You even have different engine rumbles to choose from.

Rather than the motor noise I think I'd rather take advantage of the quiet environment and have a top end Burmester Car Audio system in it and call it a day!
