Re: Class G amplification...any good ?
I can speak from experience that the NAIM Supernait 3 sounds outstanding. Big and meaty. It sounds very up front, great, tight bass, beautiful mids, and a nice open airy-ness in the top end. I rated it a close second to the Gryphon Diablo 300 in sound, along with the Pass Labs int 60. Not that they sound alike. They don't. But they're all among the finest sounding amps made. IMHO, you'd have to spend considerably more to find better sounding amps than these three. Just for the record, I'm purchasing the Gryphon Diablo 300 soon but I could be very contented with any of these three amps. My ears just have a slight preference for the D300.

Re: Class G amplification...any good ?
Bob Cordell writes that Class G & H amplifiers change the rail voltages of Class AB amplifiers as the volume changes.
see page 110 of his book "Designing Audio Power Amplifiers" (first edition).

Re: Class G amplification...any good ?
NAIM is wonderful. We’re loaded up on wonderful NAIM gear in the store because it pairs great with every box speaker. But NAIM is some tweaky ass stuff. Not for the faint of heart and it’s a system play. You won’t use a NAIM amp with a Pass preamp for example. It’s all NAIM - from the source on down to even the cables. Only variance is the speakers and be prepared for some tweaky stuff, but in the end, totally worth it. You’re rewarded with great sound in spades. Your toes will be a tapping.

Naim amps are not class G, Arcam and some Creek amps use Class G, Naim use Class A/B amplification.
