The really exciting news for the future is that darTZEEL hopes to introduce their cheapest product ever, next year, with an expected price of about $12K. It will be an integrated amp with built-in Ethernet-input DAC (likely to be a world’s first) that can play directly from a NAS. This ampli-DAC will play virtually everything from DSD64, DSD128 and DXD, so will be essentially future-proof. It will be implemented via a proprietary darTZEEL chipset.

BUT, I would give just about anything if darTZeel offered another color for their cases. I am sorry, but the wine colored cases look like a pseudo computer case..... then again, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder....

The CTH-8550 integrated comes in black too, even though it accounts for 3-5% of that model' sales.
That integrated is better than just about any pre+power combo from other brands that I had here, and it's a good way to get addicted to the darTZeel sound! After you're bitten by it, you crave for the gold/red colour
