I’m hoping the price is not too crazy, but maybe wishful thinking.

On their Facebook page, it says “We built it just for us but the guilt kept us up at night Magico rack? Coming Soon...”

It's extremely nice to see a manufacturer building some thoughtful cable management into their design. Magico rack?

Stands are not new for them...but, I would have thought, $50K racks would be a low volume product.

Makes me wonder what component could be so heavy as to require 4 Mpods on the bottom of an amp stand. I mean, not even the weighty M6 has 4 Mpods!

The cable management doo-dads are probably my favorite part of it. I'm not enamoured with the aesthetics . . . but I like my Naim Fraim . . . so obviously aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder.

I'm guessing you don't have too many options as to "where to put them" other than "on the floor."

    M6 has a higher Mpod loading, M6 = 130 lb/Mpod, Telos 3000 on Mrack = 110 lb/Mpod (Assuming the Mrack amp stand weighs about 40 lbs).

Funnily they stayed in exactly the same place during the demo that the dealer left them...i tired to move them but no.

There must be difference for amps that sit on cones or spikes so that the pressure is concentrated. Certainly the Goldmunds sat on their own cones which meant that i would wreck my floorboards if i tried shifting them.

    Love the looks.

Got to be in the $50,000 range. $20,000 for the first level and $10,000 for each one afterward

    That's my guess Over/under?????? 4 shelf rack.

    Any guesses?

If you like the way it looks and don't mind the price go for it. A beautiful looking rack like this Magico rack will likely cost a pretty penny. But regardless of the cost, I do not expect that it will change the way my system sounds.

    Magico rack?

SEPTEMBER 2019 - HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA (USA)
    MRACK
Vibration-Dissipation Audio Equipment Racks and Platforms
Magico LLC is pleased to introduce the MRACK audio equipment stand. Over the past fifteen years countless amplifiers, DACs, servers, transports, turntables and cables have made their way in and out of the Magico listening room as we have prototyped and brought to market over two dozen speaker models. The cornerstones that have remained throughout it all are the Magico MRACK equipment stands. The MRACK was originally designed for our own internal R&D to maximize system performance where available options consistently fell short. Employing the culmination of knowledge accrued in resonance control and energy dissipation through the development of the ‘Q’ and ‘M’ speaker platforms as well as the POD products; the most acoustically resolving and structurally inert audio equipment stand, the new MRACK, for the first time is available to the public.
Magico rack? 2019 Magico LLC Page 1 of 4

The MRACK is available in 3 and 4 shelf variants and finished in a beautiful and durable brushed black anodize. The middle shelves are factory adjustable to optimize each rack to your own equipment complement and are coupled to the floor with the renowned Magico MPOD for the ultimate in top to bottom vibration management. Each shelf weighs 80lbs. and is formed with five layers of constrained-layer-damped aluminum, copper and ISODAMP elastomer designed to channel energy away from your front-end equipment, while capturing and dissipating that energy into heat. The side struts that comprise the structure of the MRACK utilize the same CLD layered architecture to further control the resonance of your system and the surrounding environment. The results in improved resolution, imaging and soundstage will truly allow you to hear things you never have before.
The racks will utilize a copper grounding rod, which will allow one to ground individual front-end components as well as the shelves themselves to funnel noise from the electronics and the under skeleton of the rack resulting in even higher resolution and clarity from the whole system. The grounding rod, in turn, can be connected to external ground. The 3 and 4 shelf racks will employ 2 sets of cable management apparatus per elevated shelf to organize cabling while improving signal fidelity and reducing tension on IEC connections.
Magico rack? 2019 Magico LLC Page 2 of 4

In addition to the 3 and 4 shelf equipment racks, 2 sizes of vibration dissipation platforms will be offered to support stand-alone amplifiers and equipment using the same CLD architecture as the racks and mounted on 3 MPODs per platform.

    Re: Magico rack?

This posting is very unlike me but the recent pricing of new products like this one as well as several other High End brands is beyond comprehension. To be fully transparent, I do own a six figure system.

Hope they can sell these racks (I’m sure they will) but I’m sure as hell not going to bite. This chunk of cash buys a lot of great vinyl, tickets to concerts and even a few trips to Vienna or Salzburg for some true live music.

    Or,

A 2020 Corvette. Of course, I’m sure the rack is more advanced.

OK. So who's going to be the first to order one? How does the price compare to the top Critical Mass rack?

The Critical Mass Maxxum is $25,000 for four shelf. The Artesania Exoteryc four shelf is $7900.

I have the bottom of the line Quadrasphire racks at home which are $876 for a four shelf rack. I need to upgrade! Seriously.

    Re: Magico rack?

Lucky for you, you'll get dealer demo pricing on those new Magico racks. I'm curious how they anodize those Mrack parts, I didn't think you could get anodizing grade aluminium plate that is that thick.

The Critical Mass Olympus is a lot more expensive than their former-top-line Maxxum, and relatively on par with the Magico rack's pricing.

I don't understand their cable management concept on the Mrack.
