Re: Venom 14 Digital Power Cords videos
It is a Venom cable. I'm impressed the cable has a check list verified with a burn in on the cable.
My first impression that jumps out to me is the picture on my Panasonic 65VT60 plasma tv. The colors and image cleaned up considerably. Very impressive. The bad news is my local tv dealer left me a phone message saying the Samsung 65Q90R QLED set I've been interested in price dropped $700.00 from when I looked at it. I hate getting rid of the Panasonic. But, it's never going to be anything more than a 1080p set. A very very good 1080p set. Ugh!
I need to spend sometime today listening to Tidal and Qobuz. My second package is due to be delivered today or tomorrow. It has the Gaia II.Speakers: Magico S3 (23')
Integrated:Gryphon Diablo 300 plus DAC
Streamer: HiFi Rose RS150b
CD/DVD: Oppo 205
Cables: Cardas-Shunyata-AudioQuest-Supra
Roon Core: sonicTransporter i7 powered with HDPlex 200w linear PS, running AudioLinux for Roon--Tidal and Qobuz with iPad Pro
Time is just a tool humans created to measure movement and record events

Re: Venom 14 Digital Power Cords videos
Brodric,
The Venom 14 Digital utilizes a "NR cylinder" at the plug end for fitting the digital NR filtering circuitry. It is different in this respect from a standard Venom 14, which, as you say, has molded plugs at both ends. Also, If you order a custom version with the NR filter at the AC plug end so that you can fit a molded C7 plug into a device, e.g., a Mac Mini, where the NR cylinder with a C7 plug doesn't fit when an Ethernet cable is also installed, then the NR cylinder will then be at the AC plug end.
However, It is recommended when possible, to use the standard configuration with the NR cylinder at the "business end" (component end) of the plug, as shown above in AndiK's photos. This will provide the best functionality with respect to protecting the overall power distribution system from noise coming "back out" from the component's power supply.
