Gapless Playback on H590

Hi All,

I was a bit disappointed to find out that the H590 does not support gapless playback via DLNA. A product in this class (and price range) should not have left this feature out.
Please help get the message to the Hegel team (info@hegel.com) and ask them to fix this in the next firmware release.

There are apparently some issues with gapless playback via DLNA which may not be specific to Hegel. Have you seen related discussions on the topic like this which might help:

Looks like it's not a simple problem to solve universally and may be specific to various rendering software.

I've not used that type of connection. I thought the gapless thing was up to the streamer or app, so I learned something.

Hegel has put work into making their Airplay better than the norm, is it possible to use that or one of the other digital connections?

Airplay is lossy so not much fun using it. Not to mention poor support for anything non Apple.
