    Hi From Singapore

    Hi Everyone,
as my handle indicates I'm a digital duffer or in today's parlance a "tech noob". I was into vinyl in my younger days but with a family and the changing times went into CD and like so many got rid of the analogue stuff. Fast forward a "few" (ahem) years and I'm an out of a house, empty nester into an apartment. I've got a very small collection of vinyl which I play on a Technics SL1200 Mk3, CDs via a Cambridge CXC (very good transport for the money), a Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum 2 hybrid integrated amp playing into a pair of KEF LS50 and a pair of REL T9i.

I'm researching the digital side to upgrade for streaming which I do at the moment via a Windows PC USB connected to a ChiFi SMSL M8A dac. I use Spotify for the recommendations and Tidal. The sound is reasonable but a good streamer and dac is on my shopping list. The front runner dac at the moment is the Schitt Yggdrasil and a streamer like the ProJect Streambox Ultra S2 by designer John Westlake. Was also thinking about a combo Lumin product like the T2 (have heard a T1).

Looking forward to meeting you all on the boards!
