    System Interconnect Diagram

Hi. Maybe someone out there can help with how to interconnect a particularly esoteric NAIM system. I have a bi-amped system playing through Shahinian Diapasons (http://shahinianacoustics.com/DiapasonEnsemble.htm) that have a HF and a LF module. No matter how I wire it, only the HF modules play. Here's what I have: Two Exposure IV stereo power amps, 2 Naim Hi-caps, Naim NAC 72 premap, Exposure CD player, and a Naim NAXO 2-4 active crossover. The connection diagram that Naim sent me (attached) doesn't work as pictured -- only produces HF. I've checked the integrity of all the interconnects and they are fine.

Is there someone out there that's really into Naim that can help?

    Thanks!

Welcome to AudioShark bmf! If you don't get the answer to your question here, being Naim specific I'd suggest either checking with a Naim dealer or try the Naim forums.

Thanks. I bought it in NY but the dealer is no longer in business. I've checked with a few other dealers but no one in the states seems to be a Naim specialist -- it's always a weird brand that they just happen to carry. Most of them tell me to abandon ship and just buy new stuff! It's almost like owning a Saab or a Citroen in the States -- you need "the guy" who's a little too into the brand and can fix anything.

I'm pretty sure you could get the answer to your question on the Naim forums at the link I provided. Best of luck and good listening (once you get the problem resolved!)

I agree with audio.bill. The Naim forums can be very helpful with Naim stacks. Be aware mixing Naim with other brands can be complicated. Naim does use some funky wiring. Naim makes some great products but their wiring is part of owning Naim drove me away from them. Best of luck.
