problems posting images

anyone having problems posting photos / images?

using the "insert image" button i used to be able to upload and insert photos into a post and have the actual image displayed. now for some reason all that shows up is a link to click which displays the image in another tab/window.

if it matters, i am using safari on macOS 10.14 mojave

Yep I have for a while. Tried Firefox and chrome . I get the same results as you.

I have same issues but noticed if I convert the images to PNG from JPG, a thumbnail shows instead of a link. Also, for some reason, the Tapatalk app posts properly.

I'm using Chrome.
When I use the Insert Image feature on top, I got this below:

No issues for me.

I do Select from URL and I always uncheck the box that says "Retrieve remote file and reference locally"

Use TapaTalk on your phone or iPad. Way easier.

thanks everyone! assuming that this is a bug and not a new feature...

it would seem something has broken in vBulletin with "insert image" functionality when uploading a file "from computer" --- uploading a .jpg only gives a link to click which opens the image in a new tab while uploading a .png gives a thumbnail to click which opens the image in a pop-up viewer. this seems to be OS and browser independent.

Posting images worked forever then about 3 months ago everything went to links.
Not sure why this hasn't been fixed.

I rarely use a browser for Audioshark, but I just tried myself and couldn't upload an image. I will try to get this fixed ASAP.

Working perfect. I have had no issues.
- That said I never use a portable device to post
- 99% of the time I am uploading links from the web and not my hard drive.

After selecting the attachment, click "UPLOAD FILE(S)". Its a text link so it might be confusing you.

We are working on it. This is BROWSER related (all browsers). We are trying to find a work around.
