Do you use a VPN app on your cellphone? Which one and any issues?
I’m thinking about downloading and installing a VPN on my iPhone. If I’m somewhere with open WiFi, I usually turn it off and just surf via my cellular data service.
I was recommended Turbo VPN. You can even pick where it looks like you are coming from.
Thoughts?
This is my friend’s google page with the VPN on. A little scary for me

I am still rockin my Motorola Razer so can't comment fully. I use Ivacy at home and you are allowed to install it on up to 10 devices including phones.
On the PC I can choose country or city to connect to or allow it to choose.
Right now the deal is 5 years at $1.33 / month

Re: Do you use a VPN app on your cellphone? Which one and any issues?
Joe.......Sometimes certain things seem too good to be true (or legit). I have to wonder about a $40 lifetime subscription, how secure it really is, particularly since FastestVPN is a Cayman Island-based company. I may be barking up the wrong tree, but this deal seems suspicious to me.

Re: Do you use a VPN app on your cellphone? Which one and any issues?
I use NordVPN when travelling. I'm an avid Android fan tbh so I have to have the best privacy tool that VPNs can offer. This guide that by far, these are the best VPN apps for mobile users:
1. NordVPN
2. ExpressVPN
3. SurfShark
4. PIA
5. TunnelBear

Re: Do you use a VPN app on your cellphone? Which one and any issues?
Hi Dan,
It ended up costing $99.95 for 12 months (8.32 per day) with 30 day money back guarantee. I don’t remember if the trial was a week or a month but it seems pretty quick. I’m not doing anything that requires a lot of speed but for the most part, I don’t even think about it. I don’t notice any hiccups. I do have unlimited data on my Verizon plan and sometimes turn off WiFi depending on what I’m doing. I usually keep the VPN going. I only connect to known WiFi also. I don’t know if this is the safest way to use it but I’m hoping.

Re: Do you use a VPN app on your cellphone? Which one and any issues?
Dan, as long as you use their "smart connection" location or one of the recommended locations I can't notice a huge difference in speed. Over here we use a 4g router so it's pretty important that we keep as much speed as possible. I do notice if the wife changes the location to somewhere in the USA instead of Europe while using our magic jack phone. 95% of the time it's because of our crap internet not Express VPN. If we were using 100mbps internet or faster like what's available in the states I can't imagine there would be a huge difference between most location selections.

Re: Do you use a VPN app on your cellphone? Which one and any issues?
hello joeinid,
If you're looking for vpn service with many features and pocket friendly then i would suggest you to use PureVPN because currently they are offering halloween deal as-well in which there lowest price is just $1.65.
other vpns are also good but not pocket friendly.

Re: Do you use a VPN app on your cellphone? Which one and any issues?
Strange, the flag indicates that the VPN is connected to Finland but the Google page is in Arabic?
I do use VPN on my cell phone. Both on unsecure WiFi networks or to do some torrenting. My current VPN provider is OK at an acceptable price. I guess almost all VPN services nowadays support both cell phones and Mac/Windoes.

It works wonderfully.

I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
