Re: New Speaker Setup Small Room 10K Euros
Are both speakers without presets? Did you try and update firmware on both at the same time?

I think it’s just a computer glitch. It’s got a be a way to reset to factory setting.

Re: New Speaker Setup Small Room 10K Euros
Is your dealer an Avantgarde dealer? Failing that, what I want you to do is email Armin Krauss: a.krauss@avantgarde-acoustic.de
Explain to him what happened, and ask for a “remote session”. He can remotely log in and see what has happened and make all corrections remotely and get you back on track.
Once back on track, let me know, and I will email you my Zero TA EQ settings to play with. Obviously, they are just starting points and your room will dictate the appropriate adjustments to each.My Systems: http://www.audioshark.org/showthread...481#post158481

Re: New Speaker Setup Small Room 10K Euros
So things changed a little this past weeks, i ended up changing the music setup to the attic, which is a lot bigger, and have been using the avantgarde's in there. (if i considered doing that in the past i would probably have also considered several other speaker alternatives) but i also really like the avantgarde's in here so that's not a real issue. However i really am interested in changing the primaluna dialogue premium HP for several reasons:
I really enjoy the sound of the primaluna but only after the amp is conected for a couple of hours, however i would still prefer if the sound was a bit smoother;
i have the premium HP version which has 8 el34 tubes and 72w power and that's a totally overkill for these speakers, so like i said i prefer something way more efficient and possibily an set amp.
So bottom line i want to change the amp however my budget doesn't allow me to go really high end routes, i have about 5-6K to change the amp, i guess it's better if i create a new thread in the proper zone for that?
Btw here is a photo of the avantgarde's in the attic setup.

Re: New Speaker Setup Small Room 10K Euros
Nice system and beautiful room.
A friend has a similar space as his audio room. After changing gear several times, trying to get that magical sound, it was recommended to him to try some acoustic treatment of the space. After treating the area he was more than pleased and was finally able to sit back and enjoy the music.
What with all the hard surfaces in your room it might be worth looking into.
As for amps, in the solid state category there is PASS and VALVET among many others. For tubes, there are Coincident, Line Magnetic and many others. Depending on your musical preferences and that you are considering an SET amp you might want to look at tube amps that use 300B tubes.
Good luck with your musical journey. My System

I agree. It's similar to auto manufacturers moving the aircon controls to the touchscreen or the gear levers to a wheel-dial or buttons on the console....it's a "solution" that never was a problem.
