Thanks for sharing this Nikhil! It's very reassuring in this day and age to see people of different backgrounds and beliefs getting along so well with mutual respect.

Personally I rather this be on Twitter than on Audioshark. With the rise of antisemitism here in the USA and abroad, as a Jew, while I see the good intentions on the part of the OP I rather leave this for elsewhere and stick to why we come to this forum.

I know my friend Nikhil means well. He’s a gentle soul.

I hope to see him again at Munich.

I thank Nikhil for posting this. I don't do twitter, facebook, snapchat or any of those other social media sites.
I find it informative and refreshing to see posts of people of differing ideas and beliefs getting along and looking out for each other.
I don't understand why this forum (off topic) is not an appropriate place to share such a positive story as people "getting along".
Should we not post humorous items or Photographic or Auto related items if they are not about audio?
Since when is this an improper site to appreciate people coming together.
    Thank you Nikhil.

There is a reason most audio forums do not allow postings about religion or politics. It brings the worst out of people and usually at warp speed.

I agree. Nikhil is a very nice guy from what I can tell and from my interactions with him on various forums. I have just seen these kind of topics elsewhere, as another poster has indicated, degenerate at warp speed. Truthfully, this is one of the only audio forums that for the most part sticks to audio or audio related topics.

Ooops! Did not mean to ruffle any feathers on here.

The intent was to showcase another facet of the diverse cultural melting pot that has been India over the past few hundreds of years and more. India was the "First World" in the past and trade with India has been the source of many fortunes the world over. This included people of the Jewish faith and they left an imprint on our society as was evidenced in this video.

Perhaps the title of the video could have been better worded.

Thanks Mike! Unfortunately I will not be able to make it to Munich this time.
The last time Munich coincided very nicely with a few business meetings.

This time unfortunately my meetings are scheduled for June.

I agree, thanks Nikhil! I find it inappropriate to call for another place to post these kinds of things. On the contrary, well done! We need these uplifting stories here.

I understand and agree with your statement.
I personally did not view this as religious. I viewed it as two different and diverse types of people working together.
Something we are seeing less and less of.
I thought that maybe the people on this forum were adult enough to not go into the pits on an occasional positive posting such as this.
Looks like such is not the case.
Maybe if they had a stereo in the church??????

You obviously DON'T understand as your denigrating and judgmental comments prove. Your comments are just the reason why these threads don't belong on an audio forum. To the contrary maybe it is you who are not adult enough???

Sorry, you were the ONLY one who complained. Everybody else was just fine with the OP, and thankful for it.
