Thanks I am very happy! Good point on retirement. You can’t take it with you and you need to enjoy music while you still have your hearing. At least that’s what I tell my wife.

    Re: A3 incoming!

Congrats on the A3's. I've had mine just over three month. They get better as they break in and your ears pick up all the detail and qualities of these speakers.

Maybe I should post a couple of photos.

My wife tells me all the time in her usual sarcastic, accusatory southern drawl that I most definitely "love" my system way more than I love her.
She seem to calm down when i reassure in an equally soothing manner; "Ah Hon, why do you worry so... don't you know I love you just as much!

Congratulations Rubytuesday, the A3 look great! Is this Vitus RI-101 driving them? Would you share more about the amp/speakers kombo? Did you try the Magicos with different amps? Thank you!

It is actually the Vitus separates. The line stage is the RL-101 and the amp is the RS-100. They sound amazing with Vitus. I listened to them with a Hegel integrated and a Goldmund integrated, at dealers.

I’m using the Lumin D1 and the cables are all Synergistic Research Atmosphere level 2. The turntable is a Clearaudio DC Performance with a Musical Surroundings Nova II phono preamp.

Congrats!! I had the same Vitus set up at one point. Very nice. Somewhat rare, rather than the 100 integrated. Enjoy!

I really like them, but don’t have anything to compare them to, so not sure how helpful that is.

Thanks. I am sure I’ll make some additional tweaks to the system as time goes. Don’t we always? Just don’t want to change too much too quick.
