    If it had a permanently attached cord, they could have avoided using that tiny IEC connector.
    Or they could have used a nice Neutrik PowerCon connector.

    XL PowerIsolator sounds like ... bigger version of XL Power Cord ;-) - with perfect black background, wide soundstage and a little bolder edges of instruments. It helps with hard rock, but some "esoteric" jazz or classical (baroque) recordings may sound a little heavier and not so airy as they should.

    Yeah, I love my neutrik connecter on my Isotek Titan.
