I stopped trying to keep up with the proliferation of online audio review sites. Anyone with some HTML skills, a few bucks for a domain and host can be one.

FYI PF is one of the earliest and oldest online high-end publications of its kind. It’s certainly no Johnny come lately nor started at a time when programming online publications sites is as easily done as today either. In fact, we just celebrated the publication of PF’s 100th Issue. Many of our diverse team of writers have written for—or even published their own print magazines—at some time in their audio journey.

I have been writing for PF since 2005 - after my magazine Ultimate Audio finally folded and before that TAS, Sounds Like...., Audio Adventure and a few other print magazines.

    Thank you for your interest.

I don't follow any of the online offerings. I see links to additional info at discussion forums and will click on them if the discussion is of interest. That is the limit of my exposure. I do subscribe to Stereophile and Absolute Sound. I started with Stereophile when Gordon and his wife were mimeographing their little have page size offering out of Pennsylvania. I like the current offering because they do testing of review products. The sometimes contrast between subjective and tests in interesting.

It's people who play music, it's people who listen to the musicians and singers, it's people who write about audio gear, it's people who drop the needle, it's people who count first; without people there wouldn't be any music to play.

Music is a universal language that can bring all people to peace. That's why I love music and the people who play it. I'm talking about sweet music, music with a message, an important message, a relaxing message, a wake up call message, a positive message, an awareness message, a poignant message of high intense emotional impact, a message of direct delivery, from the heart, soul and spirit of a man, woman, child, a deliverance, a redemption, an infinity of space, for all humanity.

Bob, that sounds like a excellent description of the people who belong to this forum. Mike might want to add it to the masthead.

I have two cataracts, both eyes. I also need hearing aids. I have a heart situation, I can die anytime.
Music has been part of my entire life, I was spinning vinyl like most vinyl passionate @ age 15 and for half century. I am human, not a robot. I love living life and the music inside of it.

My nieces have an iPhone, they put sweet music in them.
My audio dealers love their customers, most of them.
The music stores love me...my money.

I love music, I love people, from all classes and status quo.
It's people who make the difference, who play the music we love listening to and from any type of hi-fi stereo system, from headphones to super deluxe comfort rooms with beautiful paintings, plants and supra pleasant furniture made of the best woods from hundreds of years ago with the most passionate work and details in them. Just looking around and listening we are transported to other exotic world countries with beautiful people living in our beautiful blue planet.

    It's the people.

Right on Mike! If only we all could always remember that, our music world would be scintillating like an infinity of stars in the space sky of the universe, immortal and enduring in all the audio forums of our galaxy, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

    That'll be the day.
