Great speakers. Had a chance to hear them this summer. Superb.

Nice also to see that the new TotalDac d1-12 MkII is part of Alon’s digital setup.

The TotalDac d1-12 MkI is a great DAC. Should be getting an upgraded MkII back from Vincent next week. Understand it’s a significant improvement over the original. Anxious to hear it.

I believe there are five TotalDac boxes.

Three of the boxes comprise the TotalDac d1-12 MkII: controller together with the left and right channel DACs.

According to Vincent, Alon, in addition to the three box d1-12 MkII, is also using two d1-drivers as preamp replacements.

And everything in that demo stack is sitting on QPods....

mono-block DACs, I thought Esoteric were the only ones to do that. I guess add Totaldac to the list. Only $30K Euro for the set.

A dumb ass video IMO. Very little substance, and the expresso deal at the end cheapened anything of value preceding it....

I think the video basically shows the scale, capabilities and quality of the production facilities. Perhaps it is meant to instill confidence in the brand. Are those Magico racks supporting the electronics? I notice the turntable has been moved off to the side. I wonder if it gets much play these days.
