Thank you Dan. I hope all is well for you and your homestead.

I am really enjoying this vintage Mc. Seems like a fantastic little amp.

Randy sorry just saw this thread about your new MC754. That is a great vintage find for sure.

Thanks Marty.... I am enjoying it... trying bi-amping with the T+A now. Sounds pretty good. The Mc has gain controls... have them set at 1.4v which is what the T+A is, so thinking/hoping it will match up. So far it appears to nicely!

    Re: Mc 754

I decided to remove the top cage to dust and clean inside. Had to remove the bottom to get to the screws holding the top.

Dam... I thought I needed sun glasses with how shinny to chrome under the cage was. Amazing how a unit which is almost 30 years old looks an sounds like it did when it rolled out of the factory! I think I might have to give the SET amps a break and use this classic for a while.

    Re: Mc 754

I hooked the Mc up today. Give the tubes a break. It is a nice sounding amp. I could live with this amp if I ever decide that I prefer not dealing with tubes, but oh those SET mono blocks are nice ...
