What kind of Amp and cable ?
To all AG owners. Would you mind to share your find on matching amp and speakers cables with your lovely Avantgarde?
Thanks in advance.

Re: What kind of Amp and cable ?
SX is on the other end of the Audience spectrum from Ohno -- I actually have some Ohno in my multichannel system but never thought to compare ...
Before upgrading from the Uno XDs to the Mezzos I tried Mike's Siltech Prince speaker wire for the main connection between Absolare/Uno. That raised things quite a bit -- just seemed to expand the listening bubble from the front third of the room to the front 2/3 of the room, if that makes any sense -- not from recessed to forward, just more enveloping. Caveats are: smaller room, lesser level Audience jumper wire, also using Mike's Siltech RCAs for the player, so not a direct comparison. Of course Mike is now swearing by the latest Shunyata with his Mezzos. And for another data point, Mike lent the Siltech to the guy who ended up with my Uno's. He wasn't as thrilled as I was -- he preferred KS.

Re: What kind of Amp and cable ?
Paul, I'd be really tempted to try Auditorium 23 speaker cables on AGs
Brinkmann Bardo w/ EMT HSD-006 cart, MSB Reference DAC --> Linear Tube Audio MicroZOTL --> Ampzilla 2000, 2nd Edition --> Fyne Audio F1-12

Re: What kind of Amp and cable ?
Used to pair my then Duo Mezzo G2 with Avantgarde's own X Pre/Power. However, I also had the experience of listening to the speakers via tubes like Air Tight, Audio Note UK and Kondo. Personally, myl preference would be tubes, even though the Avantgarde amps does no wrong. Its just the liking for tube "sound".

Re: What kind of Amp and cable ?
AG electronics always sound great from a technical standpoint. But, IMO, not so musically involving with AG speakers as the best tube amps.
