Somewhat amazingly, a Mexico v England final is not out of the question at this time, despite both countries well-deserved repuations as big time chokers. If it happened I think that would be well received inthe US

Amazing finishes in the Group B matches this afternoon. The final table flipped on those video reviews in the last minutes which almost occurred simultaneously. I was switching back and forth like a madman . Great drama.

Swden playing excellent. PIP is nice to watch both games simultaneously. A lot of pressure for both Germany and Mexico right now.

Belgium-Japan turned out to be the best match of the World Cup so far and is going to be hard to beat in any of the games. No team had come back from down 0-2 since 1970 to win. All five goals in the second half.

It was a great game, Belgium fell a sleep at the wheel woke up and delivered, the level of play was easily 2 tiers above Japan.....

You’ve gotta either give credit to Belgium’s incredible come back or blame Japan’s allowing 3 goals in 2nd half. But can’t have both. It’s not your basketball or baseball. Or watch football more than once in 4 years.
