I must have been a good boy. I hate turning off my system and having to leave the house.

    Ha!

I honestly don’t have any desire for one. I hope there’s nothing wrong with me

Besides, my Luxman C900 is wonderful.

Joe, it can always be better. It depends on what you have in the bank. Isn't that what hi end audio is about, searching for the unobtainable holy grail!

Agree. It is where one’s price to value (value being a mix of objective and subjective) point is on the very steep diminishing returns curve. This point is constrained by budget.

Could it be better? Possibly, maybe not for me and not with a non-dedicated room. But, I am so content at this point, it doesn't really matter. I'll tweak around the edges a little, power, room, cables, etc.. Life is good.

I'll take a pair of Tidal speakers with the diamond tweeters or a pair of Wilson Alexia's. Although the Studio 2's are awesome. Never heard the JBL's.

Re: ARC Ref 10 vs CJ GAT(2) ?

I love reading about everyone's quest for happiness. Joe inspires me all the time. I am closing in on that point of satisfaction, at a more modest level, of course. Love the ARC pre, and new KEF's... but I will say the T+A DAC will hold it's own... even against much higher priced DACs....

Trying out a set of AQ Earth XLR's from a buddy... he will probably not get these back... these $1000 interconnects between the T+A and the ARC sound amazingly better!

Let me think about this for a little while. I have not put the Luxman in since getting the Ref 10. The Luxman C900u is no slouch, but has stiff competition against the mighty Ref 10.

I may get flamed for this, but, yes, I could easily live with it. The Ref 10 and Lux are better in some ways but the BHK is superb and for the money, a tremendous value.
