will eventually be in my house. But my room is smaller and I have too much stuff in it to really make full range worth it. Think Joseph pulsars are where I need to be. Lmao!!!! Wish I had a way to hear the snapper setup with the Joseph's and that steelhead. Other than fly to San Fran.
Cause that's where I'm headed with my equip.

    Re: Snappers!!!

You do not have to hear the Snapper, Pulsar, Steelhead combo to realize that would be a winner.

On another note, the Studio2 would be even better in smaller rooms but both Revels are power hungry.

Steve, I've never read a bad word about the Pulsars, everyone that has reviewed them, loved them !! On a side note, you have to hear a Lyra cartridge with your Classic, it's unbelievable !!! The Delos or Kleos are both the best I've ever heard on vinyl !!!!

Your probably right , I just looked up studios. I guess the studio 1's were different looking. I wasn't a big fan of the look of those. But the 2's are different I like em. I honestly never heard the salons . I just think they are the coolest looking speaker out there especially in black.

    Re: Snappers!!!

Steve - I owned the Salon 2's in black and I've seen Mark's in the wood finish. It's way better. IMO - the wood finish makes them look like $50,000 speakers! The Studio 2's are easier to drive than Salon 2's. I bet your Snappers would be fine driving them to modest (not ear bleeding though) levels.

I concur. I heard it at Mark's. Sweet top end. Quiet tracker. Dynamic. Oh, and the Chinook phonostage is no slouch. Joe's Steelhead will be killer.

    Re: Snappers!!!

Mike I've seen the black ones, just never listened to them. I never saw the wood finish ones in person and pics never do justice to any wood speaker. I'm sure they are nice.
Did I mention the last 9 vehicles I've owned were black. Lol !

Mark is there really ever a budget when you really want something hahaha!
I was actually thinking about buying the next used Titan i that came up on audiogon.
They popup every month or so. Lol might cut into my speaker funds but what are ya gonna do

If you want Studio 2's - I know where I can get you a BNIB pair for a good price. I saw them actually....just the other day! Not sure of color. I'll ask.

Tell me about it. I jumped the gun on the snappers and left my acct with $50 in it. Lol
Then realized rent and all my bills were about due. Luckily a long awaited check showed up in the nick of time to cover all the checks I sent out. Otherwise Ida bounced a few. Lmao!! Things we do for our music is just sick sometimes.
