VAC introduces Renaissance V SE Preamp
At the request of some of our dealers, we have added a Renaissance Mk V SE level.
The difference here is essentially the same one that exists between the Signature IIa and Signature SE,with the adoption of the coupling transformers used in the VAC Master Preamplifier. Here it makes quite a difference, elevating the sound of the Renaissance Mk V SE, priced at just over $10,000, into the $20,000 performance category.
Mine will be going back for the SE upgrade.

I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
