Just finished the annual refresh of my Ceramic Pro 9H coating with CP SPORT. Love the Ceramic Pro. Even after 15 months it was still beading water like crazy and this refresh with keep it that way. For another day are the interior and removal and cleaning of the inside of the wheels.

Gorgeous! Love it. The car is a total chameleon - from 29 MPG comfortable ride tourer in economy or touring modes to ravage animal in sport or track with wicked tight suspension and grip. Handling and braking as good as it gets to boot.

That’s amazing gas mileage for a Corvette. So, it sounds like you are really liking it.

    Audi RS3 in "red"

    2017-audi-rs3-test-review-car-and-driver-photo-693407-s-original.jpg

I am embarrassed to list the cars I have wasted money on, but as I get older, I have chosen to scale down the extravagances. As my hip has been degenerating the cars I could easily get into has narrowed. Getting it fixed on November 12

Make a long story short, I found this car in 2017 and as a whim went to check it out. LO and Behold because of the steering wheel squarish bottom, it made it very easy for me. Dealer tried the 10K over list because they only make 250 and as I was leaving made me a "deal" at MSRP.

Is this better in all aspects than any of the Porsches, Ferrari, Aston, Shelby, Vipers, etc that I have flushed my money down the toilet over the last 30 years? No, but it is an awesome everyday driver. Putting it into S mode turns this 5 cylinder relatively docile beast into a true beast. Driving it with paddle shifters is one of the best experiences I have ever had with a paddle shifter and this thing really responds.

This is not expensive by Cayman standards but not expensive as it's competitors, assuming you can find one. Highly recommended to bring a BIG smile on your face.

Thank you George for the great compliment!

If you remember, I had lowering spring on it before and they lowered the Z too much. When I installed the fully adjustable coilovers a couple months back, I raised the ole' girl back up some. I think I still might go up another 0.25" from where it sits now. I want to make sure I have plenty of clearance when I up-size my tires and install 15mm spacers front and rear. The tires are currently stock Nismo sizes, 245/40-19 front and 285/35-19 rear. When it's time for new tires, I'm going with 265/35-19 in the front and 305/30-19 in the rear. And these Nismo wheels will easily accept those tires.

On that note, ride quality is much better with the coilovers and with the shocks set mid-point on damping, it's pretty flat through the corners while still maintaining a comfortable ride.

That would a rice burner then, not a ricer. A ricer is a Japanese car with a bunch of garish spoilers, wheels, noisy exhaust and graphics slapped all over it with virtually no performance mods of any kind. Cheaply done and all for show.

A HUGE difference between calling a car a ricer and a rice burner.

Awesome! I'd love to have an old 240, 260 or 280. And I notice you're right near by in St Pete. Small world! I'm 50 miles east of you in Lakeland.

Anyone with a little bit of common sense would figure out that if I wanted to go by anything else other than Charles, I would have that name in my signature below. Apparently, common sense is scarce around here.

There's just one "Sir Charles" and that would be Charles Barkley. I always loved that guy when he played ball, and I love him as a commentator too.

still work in progress. yep its going to be a resto. So much frame rust and the block after a magnaflux showed a crack, so its going to get a LS3 and a Art Morrison Sport chassis. But of course waiting on some funds.
