Are they good? No, they are great. Magic in fact.

Very nice Chris. Good looking speaker. Very Art Deco look. Can you say just a few comments on the differences you hear from your previous Devores?

The super 8's are great. I have listened to dale's O'96's a few times and they are like super 8's on steroids. The O's fill the room with rich deep sound but are still detailed with wonderful midrange.

The A23's have more base and depth then the 8's but less then the O's. The a23's excel in tone, timber, pace and ease. They sound amazing at low levels. The 8's need a more volume to shine.

When I listen to music I love the pluck of a string, the plink of a piano, the sound of a trumpet or a sax. Also the tone and timber of a voice. This is where the A23 is magical. They draw you in to each moment. They can produce a large sound with ease, but they do not fill the room like the O's do.

For the type of music I prefer these are real winners for me.

So after more than one year with the Hommage 755, how do you feel ?
I am thinking about ordering a pair for my bedroom, to replace the Super 8's.
What is your finish ? Walnut ?
