Holy crap! Congrats!!! I didn’t know you were getting the S500. Now I’ll have to stop down at your store. In the meantime, I want a full report once they’re broken in.

    Thanks,

  8. Re: Casio G-Shock “Shock Resistant Wristwatches - Japan's Top Inventions”

    Hi Joe,

I second that. I used to have a terrific Casio Altimeter watch that I used for mountaineering. It would graph altitude and barometric changes. It came in very handy while climbing.

    Re: Audionet STERN & HEISENBERG

    Hi Mike,

I auditioned the Stern preamp and 4 Heisenberg monoblocks on the YG Acoustics Sonja Anniversary XV speakers. The Stern and Heisenberg are true reference components in performance.

Terrible way to mistreat a speaker. Might as well put a stick of dynamite in there.

  16. Re: Our Fearless Leader’s Question to NP answered

Terrific question, Mike. I owned both the XA-100.5 and XA-100.8 monoblocks. I am adamant in my belief that the XA-100.5 sounds more like live music than the XA-100.8. Interestingly, the XA-100.5...

The great thing about the MBL 120’s is they will work in almost any room with minimal adjustments and sound outstanding. Refreshing!
