Re: Unpacking the Shunyata Everest 8000

A question to Puma or other Everest owners who might know...

Are all 8 outlets on the Everest connected to the QR/BB modules?

If I recall correctly, on my Denali 6000T only 2 of 6 of the...

    Re: Magico A5 Review

    Good theory.

Perhaps, the alumium honeycomb drivers will be exclusive to the flagships of each respective line? For example, M9, S7mk2? and A5.

After watching this. I'm now guessing it is the Focal flagship speaker. Grande Utopia EM.

    Correct.

I think you might have misread my post.

The US Distributor of Audionet is also a us dealer for YG speakers.

    Re: Jay's Audio Journey

    +1

I'm a YG owner (Carmel 2) and fan of the brand.

So, I'm a little biased but, honestly, I feel that If Jay didn't like the Magico M then YG would be very similar in "character" to the Magico...

I think we can rule out the M9 :-0

Sounds like the precision of the M series wasn't Jay's cup of tea.

    Re: New Falcon Northwest Laptops

Decades ago, I got out of PC gaming in favor of the consoles. I was a more casual gamer and for the occasional title the consoles sufficed.

However, I always knew of Falcon (PC and gaming...

    Re: Jay's Audio Journey

    Hi Ken,

Yes, I'm aware of that. However, I should gave have given more context.

I read a comment from Jay on this latest M6 video that his new speaker is the heaviest he has purchased.

    Re: Jay's Audio Journey

    Jay,

Sounds like exciting times to come and I enjoy watching your videos.

However, I was under the impression, that you purchase every item out of your own pocket?

    Rather than review samples...

Try adding MIT 2C3D Level 1 speaker cables + interconnects.

MIT and Magico is a great combo. Regardless of your choice of solid state electronics.

At one point, even Suncoast was an MIT dealer...

Re: Unpacking the Shunyata Everest 8000

    Re: Jay's Audio Journey

    I enjoy watching Jay's videos.

Congrats. Yes, given that used Spectral is a rarity in the 230V market, there is probably demand for good used Spectral gear as new stuff is so expensive outside of the US.

    Please keep us posted...
