Re: Lumin D2+DAC or T2
My personal opinion is that the T2's analog output sounds much better than the D2's analog output, but whether or not it makes more sense for you to upgrade to a T2 or to purchase an outboard DAC fed...

I characterize Magico speakers as a moderate load. Certainly not as easy to drive as some higher impedance speakers that will work with anything, and not as difficult as some speakers that are known...

There's almost no way open headphones won't disturb other people if you're sitting in the same room. Conversely, if the other person is listening to something themselves, or making noise, you will...

Re: Today’s Magico Install
The S3 MkII sounds better overall than the A5, and the M2 is twice the cost of the S3 MkII. It doesn't look like the seating is so far away that you'd need the higher maximum SPL output of the A5.

FWIW, steel is a good electromagnetic shield, and it may have also provided some form of chassis ground depending on how it was used and how the rest of the chassis was constructed.

Re: 8 items. 1 outlet.
A lot of times you should still plug amplifiers directly into the wall—the components in a smaller or lower-priced power unit won't be beefy enough for the draw of many amplifiers. But some units do...

We're using both the OPPO UDP-203 and the Panasonic DP-UB420 (our current projector does not support Dolby Vision). The UDP-203 for DVDs and Blu-rays, and the DP-UB420 for 4K Blu-ray.

Lenire is a tinnitus treatment. They don't claim to cure it, but do claim to improve things. So far I haven't read anything absolutely rejecting their claims, although there is plenty of doubt.
