    Re: Greetings from Basingstoke, UK

Fab! I'm finding Qobuz streaming very good indeed. Even standard res 16/44 sounds excellent, 24/96 and 24/192 even better.

Williams were strong. Shame about Massa and Perez, they were looking at an even better points haul.

    Re: F1 Racing

Yes indeed, that was a stunner and nice to see Ricciardo win his first GP. Rosberg was lucky to finish and Hamilton has now suffered car failure twice this season.

Do you guys get it live in the...

Re: Christine McVie rejoins Fleetwood Mac

McVie always had the sultrier voice, although Nicks' high pitched warble complimented her. Better together than apart, both of them.

    Re: Wilson Benesch Arc Speakers

I've not heard the Arc, but having heard the ACT and top end Cardinal speakers several times at shows, I have to say that I am deeply unimpressed. Cold, hard, uninvolving would be my summary.

I'm not quite saying that, Myles. What I was trying to suggest is that mic technique and careful mastering are FAR more important than whether the recording is made in standard resolution, high...

Spot on - it's all about microphone setup, lack of excessive compression or processing, and careful mastering.

    Portishead - Roads

    Re: Pass Labs XP-20

I needed a 1.2m length and paid $699 for it.

The bad news is that it took 7 months to arrive. Apparently Brad Vojtech has a bit of a reputation for slow delivery. It was worth the wait, though.
