    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

    Hi again,

Yepp, 50 something DTC and then a bunch of C2t's. All my DTC have Tungsten Carbide balls which was a major upgrade (prefer these over the Tungsten balls). As the bulk material of...

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

Hi All, long time no action from me on this forum!

Placing Darkz on top of equipment is something I have done for years now with very good effect so no surprice Ansuz launched their 'rezonator'. I...

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

Thanks, I would say to my ears I beat the D2 cables and are at level with, albeit slightly different tone, the DTC, with exception of the DTC black background. As usual we all have different systems...

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

Yes, climbing the Ansuz ladder becomes both expensive and obsessive with the added SQ. I put my efforts on Mainz cables as the give the most rewards in my system even if I also have signal cables...

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

    Hi,

Well it all depends… Where will you use it? My experience with the D1 vs C2 is that D1 is a more sober sounding cable and very dry in the base in comparison whereas C2 is a bit pompous....

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

Hi, the normal way of enhancing the performance would be to go for the C2 Mainz, however having, as I understand a 'good' deal on a C2 distributor I would go for the distributor. I agree that the...

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

Since the start using Darkz I always used 3 footers under my gear. To me it sounds better and take away the issue with leveling plus the uncertainty of having one Darkz with so-so contact and weight...

Re: Which TurnTable - 50K range?

    Hi Calvin,

How did your search for the 'Grail' go?

I had my TechDAS V premium for some time and it betters my previous Kuzma Stabi R on all points and considering the cost difference it should...

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

    Hi,

Mainz8 D2! At least in my home/system the Sparkz never worked it made all sound worse, go figure? If funds can be stretched try adding at least a C2 Mainz cable from the wall receptacle or...

Any one got a bite out of the new DTC2 line up? Mainz in particular!

Re: Which TurnTable - 50K range?

The flattening effect of vacuum hold down of the TechDAS should be taken seriously and is easily heard in most systems and not to forget the air bearing. It floated my boat!

Re: Which TurnTable - 50K range?

Best vinyl performance I ever heard was from TechDAS with a SAT arm and Lyra. My suggestion would be to check out TechDAS AF V premium and SAT LM-09 plus your cartridge of choice for final tuning...
  14. Re: My Sonus Faber Stradivari - Curiosity got the better of me!

    Thanks Adam,

Despite the Strads 92 dB/W/m I noticed they need some juice to get the base in order, something that I did not hear from some tubed setups albeit sounding great in the rest of the...
  15. Re: My Sonus Faber Stradivari - Curiosity got the better of me!

Anyone tried them with D'Agostino amplification? I am toying with the idea of running an integrated D'Ag Momentum!

Re: Kuzma Stabi and Kuzma tonearm experience

Hi, I think I heard about this in April when my dealer had some inside info from Japan. I've recently seen it on the web but not in the flesh. Strangely TechDAS didn't update their page with this...

Choice is already made, V Premium on its way! Specially 1st and 2nd track issues are gone with vacuum hold down.

Will report back when in August hopefully it lands here!

Re: Kuzma Stabi and Kuzma tonearm experience

    So here its is,
After several occasions having substantial demos of lower range TechDAS models I am now waiting for the TechDAS AF5 premium to replace my Stabi R. Had the Stabi M in sights for a...
  19. Re: My Sonus Faber Stradivari - Curiosity got the better of me!

The Strads was constructed quite some time ago and I think Franco was ahead of his time in many ways and todays gains in amplifier designs show that Strads are still delivering more than ever. Of...

Re: Power Cords: 2019 State of the Art?

I would say that Ansuz has presented a game changing way of addressing this field of snake oil abundance. Anyway, the proof is in the listening to their products and make up your own mind first.

    Re: Ansuz Cables & Accessories

    Hi,

I have gradually been adding DTC Mainz to my system and albeit their 'high' cost they really do magic in the appropriate system. I have not yet seen (heard) any reason to replace my U-300....

Re: Power Cords: 2019 State of the Art?

    Hi All,

My vote goes for Ansuz as to me they are heads and shoulders above any today of the brands that I have run through my system. OK, so I am extremely biased perhaps being a totally dressed...
