    Re: Todayís Magico Install

I seem to recall my S3Mk1's came with grilles as standard. My Q3's didn't, wasn't even an option. My M3's same same. S-Sub came with grilles as standard. ACC the grille was optional, which I should...

Tell you what, let's do a swap and see what gives. I send you some CS2's, you send me an Omega Clock-50?

Re: Critical Mass Center Stage 2

I wouldn't think so.....I would have thought break-in is on account of load bearing, not playing music as such. Not something to think too much about.

Interesting....you auditioned Discrete and Reference, didn't audition Select, but bought Select? What options did you order with it?

    Re: Todayís Magico Install

S3 Mk2 has become the lost soul in the range, would you say? I mean, A5 would be better in some ways for less money, M2 would be better for not much more money. Is this typical, having a dealer...

Re: Ideal Room Size for S7s

Sealed enclosure speakers are forgiving when positioned near room boundaries....and they don't really care about the color of the wall.

Re: PS Audio P20 vs Denali 6000/S V2?

Speaking of which. I just read in the news, in response to the current situation in Washington D.C., somebody high up in the US political system called President Trump "as nutty as a fruit cake". I...

Re: New photos of Randy's system ...

Me to. My solution to that problem is to turn up the volume. But there comes a point when sensibility must prevail and I turn it all off.
  12. Re: Qobuz, Tidal, etc. claim another victim...

Me to, and I said so somewhere else. But what I've found is some of the artists I like which I've discovered on Spotify are inhabiting Soundcloud and don't sell physical CD's. I did have one artist...

Re: Donít real audiophiles own their own media?

I'm yet to hear any vinyl that sounds better than what I currently have streaming Spotify Premium. Although my direct experience with vinyl is somewhat limited.

There are no issues with the quality of streaming music. You can have your cake and eat it to.

    Re: Standalone DACs under $10k?

The PS Audio is HiFi junk, for the reasons you have discovered. Ayon Audio Stealth is a HiFi bargain at its price point. I've owned the PS Audio Junior and senior DAC's, and the Ayon Stealth. No...

    Re: Esoteric XD Series

I run my Grandioso transport at 88.2 upsampling when playing CD's....dispensed with any experimentation on that, just accept it for what it is. Obviously, when playing SACD's it's native DSD.

By the post code on the shipping label, at a wild guess I'd say the install is in Mouilleron-le-Captif.

No. Exactly the opposite. Plug your 20A device into a 30A line. Don't plug your 30A device into a 20A line.

That's right. Whether Grandisoso or something less, everything gets Grandioso level packaging.
  25. Re: CH Precision New Reference L10 Preamp and M10 power amplifers

They are out there in the wild with customers. My dealer says two L10's have been delivered to clients already.
