I found that ATC SCM19 sounded much better with Nord NC500 MKI compared to 45W Croft Amp I had... which is good amp too.
Then I change to SCM40s and still enjoyed it. -

Hi
My Nord works well with Hattor passive. It has additional opamp active stage and I found +6 dB gain works best here. Before I had Croft Micro25 which wasn't as revealing and natural sounding. -
