Re: I'm still in love with my speakers

Played around with the MoFi Pointsource8 today and they are great but I’m still in love with my KEF Blades!3290532906
  3. Sticky: Poll: Re: What type of amps do you use? Tube? Solid State? Both? Hybrid?

Currently using Classe Delta MONO amps with a HifiRose RA180 integrated GanFet class D for backup. Love the Classe amps. These replaced a Parasound JC5 and sound more natural and more detailed at...

    Re: Steven Stone again

A Wadax DAC is legit! If you have ever heard one, you would know. Now, if they took their DAC and gold plated it and encrusted it in diamonds, that would be pointless. My 2 cents.

Re: HiFi Rose RS150 Network Streamer Review

It’s so funny, I LOVE the screen but ever since MIKE said that he kept his off, I generally leave it off even at the mere thought that it may sound better! I love it as a streaming DAC and my next...

Re: HiFi Rose RS150 Network Streamer Review

I’ve had my 150B for quite a while now and love it. The only issue I’ve ever had is some audio drop out running my tv into the ARC input, but ARC has always been troublesome for me. The sound...

Re: Power Cords - what's your favorite?

I have tried many, but most happy with Straight Wire Pro Thunder on amps, preamp, and streamer. Nice and flexible, good solid connection into the component, and sounds amazing.

    Re: Rose 150b question

As far as I know, it’s either or with the 150. You can use the HDMI OUT to your TV (audio and video) and watch videos OR you get audio out from RCA or balanced outputs but not both. You can watch...

    Re: HifiRose RA180 Subwoofer Output

Hi Jack. Yessir, this sub does have speaker level, so that is definitely an option. Thanks everyone. I’m running the Rose 150 streamer into the Rose amp and into a pair of KEF Blades and boy...

    Re: HifiRose RA180 Subwoofer Output

Hi Mike, I was hoping you would weigh in. So, at any output level setting on the subwoofer 1-10, the volume on the HifiRose has no effect except at zero, then it shuts off. I urge you to try this...

    HifiRose RA180 Subwoofer Output

Can anyone tell me why my HifiRose RA180 has a fixed subwoofer output instead of variable? Is there something I’m just not getting? It goes to no output at volume zero, but anything else is a fixed...

This is a true story. I was twelve and worked on my Uncle’s farm for the summer picking rocks out of the fields. I made $600 and bought my Fisher “Studio Standard “ rack system. Linear-tracking...

Re: Power Cords - what's your favorite?

I’ve been using Straight Wire for a little while now. I had the full AQ loom but tried the SW and it was a clear upgrade. It’s funny, they both have the same name. I went from Thunder to Thunder. ...

Isn’t that a $300 Dayton SPA500DSP amp module? $8000 sub? Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE WILSON AUDIO. But still.

  21. Re: Small self-powered desktop monitor speakers?

I’m a huge fan of the KEF LSX speakers. I have used them in my kitchen and computer desk and they are easy to use and very impressive sound-wise. Cool finishes as well. Two thumbs up for sure!
