Burmester 911mk.3 red light.... Anyone know about internal fuses?
HI all:
After years of dependable service the red light is coming on in the left channel of my 911 mk.3. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Internal fuse perhaps or do I need a service call?

Re: Would you like to see readers systems in TONEAudio?
We keep talking about doing a systems issue. It wouldn't be so much a "TONE approved" system(s), but just a place to start. As for the reader systems, that would probably be a few page feature in the...

Would you like to see readers systems in TONEAudio?
Hi Sharks:
I'm curious if you would all like to see some reader systems in the pages of TONEAudio. I think it might be a fun thing to see what our readers are into, what their setups are, etc etc.... -

Re: Roon Labs Software walk through #TIDAL #MQA #Mediaserver #NAS
"Good enough" in this guys very modest system isn't going to fly in mine. I'd seriously buy this from a dealer or online retailer that will let you return it if you don't like it. That little digital...

Nope. Would never use this, with that cheapie little digital converter built into the cable. I'm going to stick my neck out and guess that this would not sound good.

It's been such an honor to work with Liza. She's been with us since issue 2. I come up with the joke and she does the toon. 70 cartoons later, it's still a blast!

Re: Roon Labs Software walk through #TIDAL #MQA #Mediaserver #NAS
Considering you used to have to buy a Meridian/Sooloos system to get a quarter of the functionality of ROON, and now you can run it on a Mac or PC, $119/year is super cheap. The bigger the collection...

Re: How thrifty is thrifty?
If I had $5k to spend on a system, I'd buy a new pair of Vandersteen 1Cis, $1200. Used CJ or ARC preamp with phono, $1000. Pass Aleph 5 power amp, used, $1000, Rega DAC new - $900, Rega RP3 and cart...
