Re: Recently purchased a McIntosh MAC6700... swap to MC8900???
I've been using the 8 ohm tap. That's a good idea. I'll try the 4 ohm to see if there's any change.

Re: Recently purchased a McIntosh MAC6700... swap to MC8900???
I really WANT to love a Mac, but the 8900 is not my cup of tea. How did the 8000 differ in your opinion? It's not too late for me to make a change with my dealer.

No, I haven't. This was a valuable life lesson for Yours Truly - it's better to want what you have, than to have what you want. I loved the sound of the Hegel, but I disliked the industrial look of...

Vince11281 - I'm glad you are enjoying your Mac amplifier. My unsolicited advice is leave well enough alone and enjoy what you have. I just bought the MA8900 and unfortunately, I had the opposite...

Yes, the Aurender time-delay worked like a charm. All it took was a one second delay.

It always pays to read the owner's manual. As it turns out, the Aurender has a time delay option built in to solve the very problem I'm experiencing with the Yggdrasil. I stand corrected.

Cyril,
Thanks for your reply. No, I haven't reached out to Aurender yet, but that's a good suggestion and I'll look into it. I'm curious to hear from others on the forum whether this type of... -

Also, I should have noted that I'm using USB input from an Aurender N100.

Re: Computer Audiopile Review's of Schiit's Yggdrasil DAC...
Greetings,
I recently purchased a Schiit Yggdrasil and I'm really torn by it. It easily sounds better than the DAC in my Rowland Continuum S2. Tons more detail, less digital glare, and more... -

Re: The N100 Owners Thread
I bought one two weeks ago and I'm blown away by how much better it sounds than my modified Squeezebox touch. I thought my system sounded great before and I bought the Aurender just to try something...

I'm late to the party here, but I wanted to chime in and say that I'm really loving my Continuum S2. I'm using it with Harbeth Monitor 30.1s and my system has never sounded better. It has fantastic...

The Eversolo A6 was reviewed in FA, from that review I'd avoid the A6. The writer says he couldn't tell any difference between the A6 and the Bluesound Node. He mentions the Orchard Pecan Pie at...
