    You may be right about some difference in audio quality when the oven is on.....I swear I heard a faint gobbling sound this past Thanksgiving.
    Who knows...maybe it was my imagination...:S

    It's not on a dedicated line; it also has a household dryer on that 240V line.
    My filtered strip is kind of old, I have to admit...it wasn't very expensive...I'll look into the Venom Defender...it...

    Yes, the main stove is powered with the thick 240V cord, the same type your household dryer uses in your laundry area. On top of the stove is where the old, round, glass screw in type fuse goes...

    I never thought of using 2 sets of spikes...seems like overkill...but you must think it works.
