  1. stillpoints & luxman - how hard to remove stock feet?

i've gotten a sizable improvement in putting Stillpoint ultra 5s under my M900U, and 4 is clearly better than 3.

however, the stock feet are taking up a lot of real estate. --does anyone know if...

    Re: Esoteric N-01XD

question: for those who stream (something like qobuz), do you still need an external streamer (a good one, thinking aurender n20) if you have the n01xd? --it sure would be nice to have an all in one...

    Re: Omega QRs into Everest?

unfortunately yes. but thats only because the $800 dac outperformed ones that cost more i have first hand experience with. i wont post names.

a friend with a $40K dac likewise thought the omega...

    Re: Omega QRs into Everest?

had the chance to try the QR and the QRs in my rig.
unfortunately i could not use the QR direct to wall in comparison; had to fashion together a passive 'feeder box' from the wall to the box to the...

Re: Unpacking the Shunyata Everest 8000

    also worth noting:

as i think caelin noted elsewhere, i found that the everest did not play well with any other tweaks. none. in every instance they compromised the everest's capabilities.

Re: Unpacking the Shunyata Everest 8000

    refresh of this thread:
i had previously been using a hodgepodge of AC tweaks (PS Audio PS10 + 2 HF MC1 Pro Magnets + Add-Power Wizard + Akiko Corelli, the latter being the best of the lot).

Re: Shunyata Sigma NR v2 power cord

if you had an everest it might. ---but frankly, having gone through the sigma, dragon, and now omega on the everest, they really should just package the everest + omega.

    the others aren't close.

Re: Shunyata Sigma NR v2 power cord

agree 100% as well. ---tried the AQ Dragon w/ the Everest. did not work well together at all.
now, the omega? --sheesh. more to come on it.

    Re: Shunyata Research Announces Everest

    two things:
    A) my luxman separates do not have fuses (or ground lugs on the IEC for that matter) and
