i never did compare, i only compared a few stereo amps. I think for your 802's the 2300 would be more then enough, but again, if the budget stretches the monos should be slightly better one would...

i have the 2300 running my 800 diamonds and it does it with ease.
I tried the bryston, but didnt like it. Also considered mcintosh, but couldnt get an in home audition with them so didnt bother.

considering i just competed my system end of 2014, i thunk 2015 will be reserved purely for lots of music purchases.

i have used both tubes and SS and have always gone back to SS

in saying that, there is definately some beautiful sounding tube gear out there

i would rather get one of those cheap semi auto saeco machines.
At least then you can use fresh coffee beans rather then stale pre ground coffee in pods.
