Re: Tannoy and Shindo - A Match Made In Heaven?
I'm going to try to Tannoy and Airtight soon. I hope it is a magical combination. Westminster, ref pre and 211 amps. I think I am turning into a tube guy.

Re: Power Cords - what's your favorite?
The picture fro posted is actually a high fidelity cable made near me in Dallas or McKinney Tx. Definitely on the high end side, their top cable for a 1m is 13,500

Re: Power Cords - what's your favorite?
I have used a bunch of high end cables and at 1500 retail, the Kimber PK10 is a tremendous bargain. It is extremely quiet and you don't realize it's in your system.

27k retail. I don't think the Pass XA.8 is on the same level as Accuphase in performance or build quality

Re: Hegel H30 - Does anyone own one or at least heard it? ....
What do you guys mean when you say neutral? Are you speaking of frequency range or coloration? All electronics will color the sound in one way or the other, Some brands just more than other brands....

Re: NuVista 800's in the shop
A couple of our members had a shoot out with MF6500i, Hegel H300, Naim and Rowland with D3's. Both Mark and Jock chose the 6500i as the clear winner to their ears. Integrated's typically work well...

Re: Box swappers - misunderstood.
You can always get more opinions about gear from the box swapper. Keeps Agon up and running. Lowers pricing on used gear for the non box swapper. Many benefits the box swapper provides

Re: NuVista 800's in the shop
