Saw him with his trio this past Sunday at the Newport Jazz Festival. They are excellent and I was quite impressed. Great skill and humor, in the tradition but fresh. Great stuff!

Madfloyd, 30 feet of most cable will roll off highs. Lower capacitance cable, such as Nordost won't but I don't know how you'd like them with Pass/Magico. (I'm a big fan)

Just goes to show that all systems and tastes are different. I would happily keep thr Frey 2. Frequency extension, transparency and soundstage are all hallmarks of that cable. Imho and ymmv.

Surprised to be the first Nordost lover posting to this thread. I have a mix of Frey 2 and Heimdall 2 cords. I love the open and fast presentation.
