Re: Goodbye Sonus Faber Guaneri Evolutions...hello?????
Thank you! So why the S1 over the Q1 standmount? I typically prefer standmounts for their imaging and size (though the S1 is pretty slim).
BTW, I just got back from Vantaa and Joensuu! ... -

Re: 2 subs for 2-ch only system in a small room?
Thank you for the reply. My room is basically 9x10' but the wall directly behind me is only 3' tall. On the other side of that short wall is my much larger family room and kitchen.

2 subs for 2-ch only system in a small room?
I recently added a REL T/5i sub to my system and have been very happy with the results. Integration was a breeze with my Sonus Faber Guarneri Evolution monitors and I am now more engaged in my music...

Re: Guarneri Evoluzione with WBT-0705Ag
I just checked all my components and the mounting holes on all of them are narrower (less than 50mm center to center) than the FI-09. So at the very minimum I will have to drill into my components. ...

Re: Guarneri Evoluzione with WBT-0705Ag
Thank you. I was considering the FI-09 outlets. I am concerned mainly with the size and if I need to modify the openings of my components to make an aftermarket IEC fit. I think I will buy one and...

Re: Guarneri Evoluzione with WBT-0705Ag
Agreed about tweaking as well. I am going to change out the IEC of both my CDP, int amp, and ac power regenerator. What I need to figure out is if an aftermarket IEC will fit in these components.

Re: PS Audio DirectStream DAC
Curious if you tried converting your DSD to PCM first offline to hear if it sounds better than on the fly conversion?
I plan to try this tonight to see if it makes a difference. -

I have Mondo traps and think they are fine. Ethan may be self taught but there is no denying the absorption data. ASC is pretty pricey for sure and I am not sure they are any better.

Ahhhhhh darTZeel. That has been on my must audition list for a long time! Thank you for reminding me. Let me look into that.
