    Re: Today's Jazz Playlist

Hi Mike, I have! I don’t have a ton of original Blue Notes, and I’m not super into chasing original pressings, so the (good) re-issues tend to catch my eye. Several BN75s, BN80s, and Tone Poets here.

    Re: Today's Jazz Playlist

Hi gang, not sure if there’s interest (this thread has been “dormant” for a few years), but I thought I might post up a few Jazz albums and see if any conversation sparks up. :audiophile:

    Re: Speaker Breakin Techniques

Yes: speakers very close and facing each other, one wired out of phase, pre-amp on mono, Rusted Root CD (And Then I Woke) on loop/repeat, and close the library door for a week.

    Keep a good SS amp...

    Re: Greetings from Michigan

    Welcome from a fellow Michigander!

That Luxman is great, I've been eyeing something like that for a system here, too, but keep spending the funds elsewhere, haha.

  17. Re: Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaner Recommendations

I also have a Typhoon (and an HW-17), and am contemplating a "Degritter" from Estonia. A local friend has one and he *swears* by it. He even talked a local "boutique" record dealer (that we both...

I heard the new Sabrina X at a local dealer several weeks ago, they are nothing short of outstanding. If the "fun fund" was sufficiently flush, I think they would be here. Best I can do is keep my...

Re: Suncoast Audio - New Website Launched

Looks good! Easy to navigate (and yes, fast!) and has everything there in easy to see categories. I like a nice, clean layout and interface. Well done!

I am a subscriber, and read those bios in the Buyer's Guide and thought they were interesting, very diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Re: A move from Harbeth to... Wilson?

That small, huh? Maybe his office? :P

Seriously though, that's not a bad idea - if they have a smaller, somewhat over-treated room, it may be a good comparison.
