    Re: Vimberg Amea

There indeed were problems earlier. Haven't noticed any problems for a while now.

    Re: Vimberg Amea

Hello Gene, yes we do carry JL Audio. We used to carry REL in the past and I'm sure you could get great integration with REL as well. The Fathom j110v2 as you mentioned would be a great fit depending...

Since its release in 2020, it has easily become one of my favourite Christmas albums.

    Re: Vimberg Amea

I know the Vimberg Amea very well. They're what I listen to daily. I'm sure the combination with the Boulder 866 would be great! Glad to hear you're enjoying them.

    Re: HifiRose RA180 Subwoofer Output

They totally have to resolve that issue. Fixed output on a sub output is useless. Hopefully they'll have a firmware update coming.

Re: Went To the Toronto Audio show today.

The upper end Bel Canto products step into a pretty elevated league. They don't get the attention they deserve.

I've been using the Bel Canto Black EX integrated amp with the Vimberg Amea.

I saw that Wynn had a blue pair at the show. Are those the ones you ended up getting? I haven't seen the Velvetec Blue finish in person, but they look very cool.

Re: Rest in peace Olivia Newton John

In my opinion, her best song and she's quite captivating in this video.

Re: Help me pick a new pair of speakers

In your price range, I'd suggest checking out the Amphion Argon3S. I think it could match your needs very well.

Re: What are you listening to tonight ?

Here's something a little off the beaten path and very hard to find outside of Tidal. A Polish jazz album featuring Hammond B3 organist Wojtek Karolak and guitarist Jarek Śmietana. A really solid...

    Re: Hegel sound

In my opinion, I imagine you'd get better overall sound having the H20 power the Blades entirely as opposed to bi-amping as you're suggesting. The H20 has considerably better overall sound quality,...

    Re: Hegel sound

Power ratings often don't tell the true story. It has been quite a while since I've had a H20 around, but at one point I connected it to the preouts of the H360 and the improvement over the power...

The blu-ray of the performance is definitely worthwhile as well.

Re: Snake Oil or Contact Enhancer?

I really don't know about this product, but I'm really happy with the results of using Furutech Nano Liquid. It's certainly not inexpensive, but just a fraction of the price of this one.

Re: Bel Canto pre 5 preamplifier

I had a good chat with Michael from Bel Canto yesterday. The Pre5 will certainly be a great match for their REF600M monoblocks, phono preamp, etc. It helps fill in the product gap better for those...
  23. Re: Suggestions for high end speaker stands?

Okay, Noel from Skylan Stands has definitely stepped up his game since we last used his stands. He has just finished a new design and has sent us a pair for the Vimberg Amea. There's a dual base with...

    Re: bel canto ref s500

Glad to hear the Bel Canto is matching well for you. Bel Canto does Class D very well. They've been at it for a very long time. Their newer Ncore based products definitely go further. I use the Bel...
