Tannoy Studio Monitor Recones?
Have tried contacting Tannoy North America twice to no avail. Anyone know of a reconing service in the US, preferably on the West coast? Speakers are Tannoy 8 NFM II monitors.
Thanks

Bypass Treble "Energy" on Tannoy's?
Having some caps in the GRF's replaced and saw a reference to bypassing the "useless" (according to posts I've read) treble selector. Anyone have an opinion about this?
Thanks

Re: Replacement grill cloth for GRF Rectangles?
Thanks Face. I've used them for speaker grills for my Fender amps and there's one cloth that might do ok. Not quite a match but not sure I'll find better at this point.

Re: Steps to start using GRF's that have been in storage?
Dual C's can be an acquired taste for some. I had friends tell me they're too harsh or too revealing or too focused. Usually these are clients who are startled by how poor their mixes are but still...

Re: Steps to start using GRF's that have been in storage?

Steps to start using GRF's that have been in storage?
Hi
I'm new to this forum and finally have a place where I can put my system back together again. The GRF's (rectangles from 1967) have been in a climate controlled storage unit for the past 10...
You should ask your dealer to bring the CH stuff he wants to sell you for home audition in your system. IMO there is no way to tell what will sound better in your system.
